The M.U.S.C.L.E. Ten pack

10 M.U.S.C.L.E. Figures came in these little plastic garbage cans.  The cost for these 10 packs was about $5.00 to $7.00  The plastic containers were foggy rather than clear, so it was tough to make out what figures you were actually buying.  Sometimes if a M.U.S.C.L.E. figure was close enough to the outside of the container, you could make out what sculpt it was.

Originally.. 10 packs only featured pink M.U.S.C.L.E.'s., but later on the original pink figures were replaced with colored ones. Out of the three package assortments, this was my favorite type of pack to buy. There was just something way cool about getting a bunch of wrestlers in a little garbage pail!

The M.U.S.C.L.E. 10 pack container was probably one of the coolest toy packages of the 80's.  In the 70's I remember Mattel making some gooey stuff similar to GAK, called SLIME.  It too was housed in a Garbage pail that looked very similar to these.  No other toy packaging from my youth stands out in my mind as much as these little containers do.
