10 different colors
of M.U.S.C.L.E. figures were released by MATTEL. Lavender/grape were
only available on five select figure sculpts
from the Board game.
From time to time, we
hear reports of new colors being found, but such finds have never been
successfully validated. Until these strange color variations can be
found in unopened packaging, these claims can only be dismissed.
Conventional wisdom dictates that these "new color finds" are
either bootlegs, or perhaps the M.U.S.C.L.E.'s Japanese cousins...
Kinnikuman, which were made in a multitude of various colors.

Old M.U.S.C.L.E.
Color Chart circa 1999
Be aware that sometimes you will have slight color variations of a
half a shade lighter or so. This tends to happen when M.U.S.C.L.E. figures
have been exposed to elements for extended periods of time like weather,
water, dirt, or chemicals. The end result is oxidation of the
plastic.
