The Hard Knockin'Rockin' Ring

See the back of the packaging here

The Hard Knockin' Rockin' Wrestling Arena sold for about $11.00.  These rings were very entertaining, and could provide you with hours of fun.   This toy came with two M.U.S.C.L.E.'s exclusive to this packaging (pictured above) You started out by placing your wrestler in between two prongs.  You would then fight against your opponent on the opposite side of the ring using a joystick to control your wrestler.  The object was to see who could knock their opponent to the mat first.  My son and I have had many exciting step ladder tournaments with this toy.

There were some drawbacks to the ring however.  Not every figure could fit in between the prong's used to hold them in place. The grey prong's you see in the picture above are from a prototype.  To the left is a picture of what they really looked like.  The cheap plastic that these prongs were cast from would eventually break from wear.  The ones on the packaging above actually look like they're more forgiving, and would probably accommodate a broader range of figures.

One sure way to increase your chances of beating your opponent, was to pick a figure whose torso would fit tightly in between the prongs.  I won many matches using this method, but also broke a few prongs along the way.
